Adventure Bay uses engaging activities to introduce pre-school children (ages 6 weeks to kindergarten) to God. Wonder is God’s fingerprint on our world. We show children how they are part of that wonder. In Adventure Bay our compass points to God! Set your course with a crew of volunteers who love kids and will take them on a fun-filled, bible adventure. Sunday mornings are filled with praise and worship, crafts and so much more. Coordinator

To greet visitors, assist with check-in, maintain room ratios, and have an overview of service activities.

Coordinator Assistant

Identify visiting families and offer assistance, help the coordinator facilitate the responsibilities of a service.

Scheduling Coordinator

To generate and maintain a monthly schedule for all volunteers.

Craft Coordinator

Prepare crafts and supplies for the pre-school and kindergarten classrooms for the weekly Bible story.

Nursery/Toddler Coordinator

Oversees nursery and toddler rooms and provides a familiar and comforting presence to the volunteers and families.

Two Year Old Curriculum

Oversees the two year old classroom. Prepares the curriculum and supplies and helps with training and recruiting new volunteers.

Lead Teacher

Presents the Bible story and gives direction and oversight to the volunteers.

Teacher Assistant

Assist the lead teacher with crafts, snacks, bathroom breaks and room atmosphere.

Student Volunteer

Helps transition children into classrooms during check-in and assists with crafts and snacks.

Praise and Worship Leader

Leads praise and worship music with hand motions to children. No singing skills required.

Checkout Assistant

Greets returning parents and checks security tags to ensure children leave with the appropriate adults.

Show a three-year-old a rainbow and his eyes pop open, he laughs and murmurs something that sounds semi-close to English. That’s wonder. Show a third grader how pleasing God connects to honoring her parents and she will most likely look at you funny and continue eating her pizza. That’s discovery.

Reel Kids strive to connect the love and worship of God to good decision-making for your elementary-aged kids. We provide engaging services so they will see and learn the value of respecting authority, making wise choices and trusting God no matter what. They will also learn to treat their friends like they want to be treated. We do this all in a very inviting environment.

Host

Serves as the emcee; welcomes the children during large group and assists with transitioning to the Bible story and worship; will dismiss the children to small groups.

Praise and Worship Leader

Leads children in a meaningful time of worship through music. No singing skills are needed.

Multimedia Tech

Works with Host to provide audio, video and computer graphics support. Training provided.

Small Group Leader

Becomes the primary model for a group of (up to) 10 children and encourages spiritual growth through relationships, discussion and other small group activities.

Check In/Out Coordinator

Facilitate a secure program through check in on the computer system. They will make sure every child is in the system in a timely manner. Also assists with dismissal at service ends. Minimal computer skills required, training provided.

Teacher

Communicates the Bible story in a creative, attention-gripping way.

Actor

Helps in communicating Biblical truths or core virtues in a creative manner.

Greeter

Welcomes the children into a room by leading the child and families to Reel Kids, transitions the children into the classroom and communicates the vision of Reel Kids to the parents so they feel comfortable.

Prize Table Clerk

Allows kids opportunities to make purchases with Reel Kids bucks that they have earned.

Family Experience is designed to help create a shared experience for parents and children as well as a fun place for families to bring un-churched friends for the first time.

We will offer this type of production on a monthly basis.

Each segment of the Fx has a specific goal. There will be lots of “fun” elements to this program; Interaction with the audience, visual breaks for kids, and singing and movement just to name a few.

The actors will initially create a dilemma or situation that needs to be resolved. Throughout the service, we will establish the upcoming month’s virtue and present the Bible as a source of wisdom and direction to resolving that tension. This is a great way to present Biblical Truth in an applicable way with the family unit celebrating and experiencing it together.

Leads motions during services. Monthly practices.

Multimedia Tech

This person will be responsible for all audio/visual needs in the service and in the lobby. Training is provided, a working knowledge of Mac OSX is recommended.

Cafe

This person will have products for display and keeps inventory.

Parking

Provide safe parking atmosphere during arrival and departure.

Ushers

This person will help seat families and help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
